The book makes you see that God is always in control even when life appears out of control. “I was given Leave By Any Door by the author of this book who at the time was a business associate in my networking group and now a friend. I have read books from people that put out self published works and often times the reading experience falls quite short. This can be due to just a lack of writing chops in which the word choices, diction, flow, and other issues make a book downright unreadable. Not so with Leave By Any Door. After meeting with the author that afternoon and him gifting me his book, I opened it and got into it after I got home. Hours later I had gotten through half of it. The very next day I continued where I left off and finished the book that afternoon. I can honestly say that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. It was an extraordinary account of the author’s growing up in the years after WWII and coming of age through the 1950’s and to the early 60’s in the Midwest of the United States. I am really floored by the writing. It felt like I was reading a classic like Catcher In The Rye. I think if this book was written back in the day of that classic it may be regarded as such. What a delightful read. I highly recommend it.”
